Manufacturing makes up a significant amount of our gross domestic product generating around $1.6 trillion dollars, which makes up two-thirds of our nations total exports of goods and services, supporting more than 20 million high paying jobs. Given the influence this industry has on our economy and our day to day lives, news and information can be overwhelming. The NWMA has selected news and information sources that we have found informative and relevant for keeping our manufacturing companies and support services up to date on our ever changing industry.

The News and Research section of this site is a shared resource and benefits everyone who is interested in keeping up with the manufacturing industry. Given the shear volume of information available to us it is our hopes that our non member and member base will aid in the building of this shared resource.
